Norwegian Neuroscience Society

The Norwegian Neuroscience Society (NNS) is an association of neuroscientists in Norway and member of the Federation of the European Neuroscience Societies (FENS).

The aim of NNS is to facilitate neuroscience research and education through representation of all related disciplines and practices in Norway. All neuroscientists working towards a PhD degree and above may become a member of NNS.

NNS members are automatically members of FENS as well and may take advantage of the extensive FENS member benefits and services.

FENS Forum 2018

NNS recommends all members to attend the FENS Forum 2018, which takes place in Berlin, Germany from 7-11 July 2018. The FENS Forum is a biannual meeting for all neuroscientists in Europe, and serves as an important meeting point for world’s top experts, post docs and students. This year, molecules and photons, neurodegenerative diseases and stem cells are only a few of the key topics to be covered by a top-level scientific programme, alongside lively networking and social events.

2nd Nordic Neuroscience Meeting 

7-9 June 2017, Stockholm, Sweden

Nordic Neuroscience 2017 is the meeting for all neuroscientists in the Nordic and Baltic states. The objectives are to facilitate interactions between neighboring countries and establish networks for future collaborations. The overarching aim is to achieve a greater knowledge of the neuroscience carried out in this part of the world.

EBC Consensus Statement

The European Brain Council (EBC) launched on 18 March a Consensus Statement to promote further investments in brain research:
